Armada

Armada is a multiplayer game.

Legend has it that Armada is an ancient game played by two battle weary pirates after they were too old to sail the seas. Reliving mighty battles that had consumed whole fleets on a small board is how they spent their days.

There are two possible moves in Armada. You can click on your piece and then click on any adjoining empty space or you can "jump" any adjoining space. A jump will actually move your piece to the new space. Non-jump moves create a new piece. All of your opponents pieces that are adjacent to your move are taken captive and brought into your Armada. To win you need to have a larger fleet than your opponent when all spaces are filled or one of you has no further moves. Be careful... Those jumps can look good at first but have some dire consequences!

Secret Codes

type marrow - will give you an extra life (One use)

Strategy Guide

(by Kulana)

1.  Try to hit the crazy frog for 25 extra points...he appears
in the green area below where the slorgs come out.

2.  Clear the screen of all slorgs - 32 extra points

3.  When you're shooting at the slorgs, try and group them by two's....this way when you clear a group of three, the remaining groups of two have a better chance of coming together and collapsing as well, giving you more points.

Letter Decoder:

U= Up arrow
D= Down arrow
R= Right arrow
L= Left Arrow
hU= Hold the up arrow as far as the dice can go.
hD= Hold the down arrow as far as the dice can go.
hR= Hold the right arrow as far as the dice can go.
hL= Hold the left arrow as far as the dice can go.
,, = At this point you must pause as you wait for a wall to lower
3R = is the same thing as RRR

Levels Walkthrough:

1 - hU
2 - UR   (don’t get the coin, you get more points for a shorter path)
3 - UU,, UUR UUL  (get the coin only if it is 25)
4 - LL hU hL
5 - LLUR 4U LLU
6 - 5L UL DUD RRUU 3R UR 3U L
7 - RDRULU
8 - DRRDDLL hD
9 - LL 3*(UL) UUU  (don’t get the coin, its not worth it)
10 - U 3R DDR hD hR
11 - RUULULL
12 - UD
13 - ULLUULUURRRD
14 - UULUU, DDD 5L D, 3R 4U 3R UU, LLD 3L UL
15 - LLLU, 4R UR 3U,, DLLU
16 - 4L UUL,, L hU hR
17 - U 4L DLLURDL, 3x(UR)
18 - R, LUU 3L RDLL
19 - 3R ULLU, DRDLUULL,, LUUULU
20 - LLLUL,, LU, DR URRR, LLLUUULLU
21 - U 5L DL
22 - UL UL U
23 - RUUL hU
24 - 3U LULUL

Each step you take subtracts 4 points from the potential 100 round score points per level.  Coins are worth 5, 10 or 25 points and unless a coins is 1 or 2 steps away, its not worth it to try to get the coin unless its already along the stated path.  Following this guide you will only obtain the coin on 5 of the levels.

As far as I can figure, the highest possible score is about 1850, if you had lightning speed, or realistically, 1785.

I will attempt to find out how the trophy winners were able to get higher scores, but for now, this guide is sufficient for the avatar.

Scoring

By the way, this game is not recommended in seeking neopoints.  Since the pay ratio is 200 nps per 100 points of score, getting an average score of 1600 will only net you 800 neopoints, short of a potential max 1000 nps you could get in a quicker game.

Strategy Guide

The Blobs

The regular blobs vary in size and speed when travelling across your screen.  Click on them and make sure they fall into the appropriate vat to fill it up so you can make your miniatures.

**Watch out for the angry looking blobs...do you use them or they will ruin your vat supply**

The soap cleans up after any spills (you may need more than one to clean up everything)

The Purple blob with wings speeds up your production line
(I generally do not use this)

The Clock gives you additional time.

The ice blob slows down your production line.

The atomic looking ball fills all your vats (only available in later levels)

Angel blobs will fill any vat to the top (or will turn a miniature into an angel worth more points if you hit them on the head with it)

Scoring

The basic scoring is based on the type of miniatures.  Each level you are required to complete a certain number of miniatures.  So, the more rainbow miniatures you can complete, the more points you will get.

If you happen to see this green blob flying by, click on it to upgrade all miniatures currently on the assembly line.  The blob does not have to fall into a vat, you just have to click it.

Other Tips

Sometimes it helps if at the end of a level, right before the screen comes up saying proceed to the next level, see if you can get a drop to start falling, then quickly click on proceed.....the drop will carry over to the next level. You have to be careful to make sure it will hit the pot, otherwise it will add to your waste level.   darque_zion

Meepit Juice Break

Avatar

Post a score of at least 3500.

Secret Codes

Type meepits after you click on "Play Game" to get an extra life

Type juice-o-matic (including hyphens) during the game to reset all the meepits' timers

Strategy Guide

(by kulana)

In the very first level the meepit's timer is at 60 seconds, take your time and try to connect all the pipes so they will all be used when you feed the meepit.  Sometimes it helps to keep the very last pipe before the meepit turned the wrong way so you can see where your juice is flowing.  Then turn the pipe when you are ready to feed.  If you can use all the pipes to feed the meepit you will get a bonus of 50 points.  This can really help increase your score.

In all the early levels, take as much time as you can, without losing a life, to connect as many pipes as possible.  The more points you get now, the less you have to worry later.  As you have to start feeding 2 and later 3 meepits at a time, try to arrange your pipes so that you can feed multiple meepits at once.  This resets all their timers at once and gives you more time to arrange your pipes.  If you start running short on time, just connect the pipes as fast as you can.  Once per game you can type in juice-o-matic and reset all your meepit timers.  Make sure to use the code at the beginning of the game to get an extra life.  At the end if you are finding it too hard to feed all three meepits, just concentrate on feeding 2 at a time.  You will lose one life, but the points you gain from feeding the other two may be just enough to get you the avatar or high-score.

Scoring

Use all the pipes in the same color to feed the Meepit(s) and score a 50 point bonus.

Time Tunnel

Strategy Guide

(by Aurelius7)

First things first:  Download the following zip file and save it somewhere you are going to keep using it from.  It’s a small little 81 kb file that expands into 10 files.

http://www.paradoxes.info/code/MasterMindSolver.html

and the following little jpg.

The creator of this file wrote this to solve Time Tunnel’s predecessor Code Breakers. The same file can be used to solve Time Tunnel, but a few graphical changes are needed.
Ok, here is how it works. Run the executable and open up the crude little picture I made to assist you in the conversion process. This simple little application solves any MasterMind clone with the fastest path to the solution. Unfortunately it request your input to tell it how to get to the right solution.

Open up the Time Tunnel game at Normal size. There is no need to have it any larger. Next run the executable and open up the picture so that you have these three windows next to each other and then go ahead and start the game.
The center bar will have 4 blank stones in it. I call this position 0 because you don’t have to click on any of the stones to get this color, you simply start with it. And yes, clear is a possible color.

On the first level you only have 4 choices of positions 0, 1, 2 or 3 (clear, gray, light blue, or red). In the MasterMind Solver you will see 2 red stones followed by 2 white stones. These stones are above 4 numbers that correspond to the old colors they represented in Code Breakers. You don’t have to learn the order of the new colors, simply the number of clicks it takes to get to the desired color. You can ignore the field of dashed numbers that is below the 4 stones and numbers in the MasterMind Solver. This just lists all the current options that the solution can be.

Your job will be to click the stones in the Time Tunnel game the proper number of clicks so that they correspond with the numbers shown in the MasterMind Solver. Hopefully this will make sense.

The first move you should make for each level in Time Tunnel will be the same. You want to simply click the 3rd & 4th stones 1 click each. This will give you the colors:

Then hit the UNLOCK button. This will produce a result of 4 circles. These circles will be some combination of white, orange and green. Your goal is 4 green circles.
Next you need to tell the MasterMind Solver program the result of the inputed code. If, for example, your result was

then you need to select 1 under BLACK and 1 under WHITE. Then press the HIT button.
The 4 stones in the Solver will change to a new code. Each numbers represent the number of clicks you need to click on each stone, except that they are off by one. The second guess given to you starts out as 4 clear stones. These are each at position 0 in our numbering or position 1 in the MasterMind Solver numbering. In our example, 1 Black and 1 White results in the following new code:

The numbers given are 1 2 3 3. To input this into Time Tunnel you click the 1st stone 0 times, the 2nd stone 1 time, and the 3rd & 4th stones each 2 times. Basicly you just subtract one from each number and click the corresponding stone that many times. I am hoping this makes sense to you.

Again, once you hit UNLOCK you will be given a number of green & orange circles. The order is not important of these circles, nor are the number of white circles. These represent duds. At this point you should start to see the repeated process that you will be doing to get to the correct solution. Continue this process until you reach the solution.
You are now at level 2 so hit RESET in the MasterMind Solver and do it all over again.
At higher levels you will have be given two more colors to choose from. With the Solver and this process in place, you wont even notice, just follow the directions.

---

One word of caution: Be careful in inputting the correct code from MasterMind Solver into Time Tunnel. If you do it incorrectly, your results will be wrong when you input them back into the Solver. At this point you will have to try your best to work your back to the solution.

I wish you quick solutions and fast fingers.
