PLEASE BE A GOOD GUILD CANDIDATE/MEMBER

These guidelines are in place to help the Guild run smoothly, they are not here to make things difficult for any member. Neocentric is a place to have fun and make friends. We do not ask for donations (though they are always welcome!) ~ all we ask for is activity, good manners and friendliness ~ they cost nothing!

1. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NEOPETS RULES APPLY AT ALL TIMES.

2. Please do not post in ALL capital letters ~ some are ok to emphasise a word! Also, please ensure that your font is easy to read ~ if you are asked to change it then please do so as soon as possible.

3. Please do not spam on the message board ~ this includes multiple one line messages, talking to/answering yourself and advertising more than once per day.

4. Rudeness will not be tolerated in any shape or form ~ this includes asking for neopoints or items (you may however ask for tips or help with quests!). Please do not be abusive or complain about, argue or fight with other guild members on our board ~ try to solve your problem via neomail or if that fails please contact a council member for help.

5. Whilst we don't want to exclude real life completely please try to keep our message board happy and cheerful. If you have a serious real life issue you wish to discuss then please take it to the guild gallery message board or to neomail.

6. If you are at all unsure about posting something then please neomail a council member to check but basically please use common sense ~ if you think it will upset someone then please don't post!

7. We ask that you post at least once a week please and that you let a council member know if you will not be around. Anyone who does not post at all for a month will be contacted and reminded. Failure to post within a week after that will result in you being deleted from the guild. Members who have not been on Neopets for 100+ days will be deleted ~ the guild can only be successful and fun if you are active and participate!

9. Activities ~ please check with a council member BEFORE starting a guild activity ~ we need to ensure that it doesn't clash with an activity already in place and that it doesn't break any Neopets rules.

   Contests, raffles, or any other promotions promising a prize are not allowed on Neopets whether it be in a user's shop, lookup or guild, etc. The Neopets terms and conditions state that promotions offering prizes of any sort (including contests, raffles, lotteries, chain letters or any kind of giveaway are not permitted. The below may be changed at any time! I know NeoPets rules are a little hard to remember, so if you do err and your message gets deleted, just reword it and repost it correctly. Don't try to get by with something that is not allowed! If you try to get around Neopets rules, you could be banned from the guild. Please never be offended if your message needs to be removed. It's just to protect the guild. We are NOT promoting ways to get by the rules! We want to follow all the rules at all times. But, at times the following words will cause problems in the guild and make it look like we are not following them. Just please be careful. It is never wrong to treat a guild member with an item if you choose to. Just remember that you cannot promise a treat for an activity.
